Character Introductions

My name is Lillith, but you can call me Lilly. I’m 17 years old, fairly tall, wispy strawberry blonde, big gray eyes. I have a few freckles and a beauty mark right next to my eye. I’ll never be a model, but it doesn’t hurt to look at me. I’ve always had this thing about me… I don’t know what you want to call it. A gift? A curse? A freakshow in my breain? It’s probably all those things! My mother called it demons and my father just calls me crazy. My new friend just calls me special. His name is…

Charley. Private Charley. My first name is Hank, but I won’t tell Lilly that. She always says I’m tall and “crispy”, clean cut and refined I guess that means. I’m always in uniform and I like my shoes to shine. My main goal is to protect her from  that jerk…

Commander Fitzgerald. Don’t look at me unless I give you permission. I’m unruly with a scar across the bridge of my nose. It happened in the Second War. You’ll listen when I speak and act when I order. I need this little flower, this Lilac, to help me win this battle. The world depends on me and I’ll use whatever means necessary to make sure I don’t let the world down. One innocent is worth the price of saving an entire planet. She’s always talking to herself, to this shadow she calls…

Bernard. She thinks she found me, but I found her. We are destined. Together we will change this world. I don’t have much of a form just yet. My eyes are still blue and my hair is still black, but nobody can see it but this special young woman. I have to keep her from being distracted by that pesky friend of hers…

Tasha, the spunky blonde. I am going to run away with Lillith and I’ll try my best to keep her anchored to this planet. She’s a little flighty sometimes. We might be going from the frying pan into the frier, but at least we’ll be together. Lilly is my best friend, I couldn’t live without her and she can’t live without…

Me. My name is Lillith. I am planning on running away from home. I’ll be an adult in only 3 months. I am ready now.

Nanowrimo?

I thought long and hard about which page would best be suited for my Nanowrimo project this year… and this is what burst forth! I’m not sure if this story will become a “lost thing”… but it is lost now, so maybe writing here will help me find it. If you’re interested, please check the menu on the side, the story is tentativelyl titled “Otherwise Unknown”…

Enjoy. I welcome all comments and feedback.
